Друзья, помогите мне разобраться.
COLDCUT, DAEDELUS, Mr.Scruff, ONE SELF,HERBALISER, WAGON CHRIST и другие представители Ninja Tune во многом схожи по музыке, так вот, играют ли они в одном стиле и если да, то в каком?
P.S. И не помогли бы разобраться в стиле непохожих ни на кого JAGGAJAZZIST и FLANGER.

стиль официально зовется Electronic, углубленное изучение рождает множество споров... ведь тут присутствует и чистая электроника, джаз, фанк, хип-хоп, трип-хоп, драм-н-басс и пр...
можно впрочем охарактеризовать продукцию лейбла как downtempo...
лично я больше склоняюсь ко второму варианту...

i wouldn't change anything to this new one, as with his 1st one.
it's just a change in musical direction. nuffin wrong with that.
the boy can sing. quite good actually. give him some credit. |

I like it very much when musicians change from what's worked for them in the past. It's called being versatile and daring. Just like Frank Zappa did back then, when every new album of his would be a departure from his previous sound. |

именно, думал послушат и на виниле купить.. но ну нахххх.
полный бред... самовыражение - самовыражением.... но и о слушателях надо бы подумать...

cool, but where's electronic sound, just some trick from past. It's just recorded very well [in good isolayed] studio... that's it...

he was not much into electronics anyway.
i agree that he was good with chopping beats though. his take on them was even rather original at that time, and i rate "fresh produce" as one of the best things ninja put out in the trip-hop vein.
but then, like DrNil said, fink is more versatile than we thought. this new album is a beautiful acoustic song-led bluesy thang. there's bits of things that i'm sure i've heard from other artists, but basically gorgeous lovely lush heartfely bluesy fantastically produced, erm, "tunes".
and the more i listen, the more i like it.
my advice: try not to shut artists into little boxes. it's not like some kind of "betrayal" to his fans, just something DIFFERENT. |
