giftedunlimited I am admiring you. How are you doing that? I mean where do you get all those money? In our country they sell 1 album about 16 Euro in normal shops, on internet you can buy everything cheaply but you have to pay for shipment so prizes are the same at last. My income is cca 140 Euro/month (but I am a student) so 1 cd is about 1/8 of my income. I can afford 1 album per month but I have to cut down my other enjoyment so...hm..when I am thinking and calculating...I will rather perserve myself as a thief.
You are from UK (cheaper CDs and vinyls, bigger income, ...) and as I can see your taste in music is narrower than mine so you can concentrate to fewer labels and artists than me. I am helpless. I can be honest and live without music (or listen to radio which has to be net one because normal ones are sucking here). Me and my friends doing some parties so what I can do? Turn on radio bullshit? Oh man, I am too proud about listening to exclusive music which I can share with others. No. Until my income is that low I has to be a thief. Howgh!
PS: Sorry for flood. Some administrator could delete these pieces of my torn heart... |

| Цитата: | | I hope we will keep "ninja tunes" alive in flux of time. And Ninja Tune as a label too. Although we are the thieves. |
I agree and disagree at same time... Im Ninjas maniac for long time, and I know for sure, there a actually NO releases from Ninja Tune in my country... if some store have the record its price about 28-30 Euro (it Fucking Crazy!!) one more thing - you cant find stuff you want, even for money... coze everybody dont know who tha fuck are Ninja Tune?! thay listening EMENEM.. and buy vls through I-net is expensive to.. so I fuck tha rules.. but feelin bad.. |

ilkdaft Thanx for support. I have dissadvantage becouse in my country I can buy almost everything which were released. But for lot of money like you wrote (via e-shops because of shipment or in stores because of their profit). Sometimes I find good music in outlet stores but those things are too old or not top production and still cost mostly about 8-10 Euro. When I was in USA, oh, most of new CDs about 5-15 Dollars and their income is uncomparable bigger. But I do not complain. I have friends thieves and we can trick all the world. Maybe when I grow up I will buy original records. |

maoc i think it's ok, if you don't have money, you can't buy cds, you have to download it. if you love music, you have to do it. i try to buy 2-3 cds per month, sometimes it goes, sometimes don't. but i have to listen it first, that's why is downloading important to me. don't have money for shitty music... |

nejedly Thanx for kind words. But I am not poor and this is a problem. Everything is a question of priority. Music is not AS important to me to try to make more money or cut down some other pleasures (buying books i.e.). I love music but maybe it is time to start thinking about evolving my relationship with music to another dimension. Thanx to all for your opinions, it gave me a impulse to start fuguring something out. Respect to all who have got their consciousness clean. I love you. And thieves too. |

maoc cd's in the shops are expensive here as well. a typical cd costs around 12GBP (about 17.50euro). but i hardly ever buy cd's in the shops unless there's a good deal. i usually buy my cd's online which can typically cost between 5GBP and 8GBP. also, when i say "i try to buy one a week", that means it's more like 3 a month and sometimes 2 a month.
as for income, i am also a student, but in the UK we get what is called a "student loan" which is an interest free loan that is paid back when i get a full time job. this supplies me with about 500GBP (about 725euro) a month, so you can see that one cd a week shouldn't hurt my bank balance too much.
in my opinion, my music taste spreads across a wide range of genres: hip-hop trip-hop breaks drum&bass jungle house psy-trance idm nu-jazz acid jazz funk dub reggae |

giftedunlimited Oh. I guessed your taste is narrower. I thought it because you posts and replies were appeared in the threads of similar styles. I saw it that way. But you are right, now I am remember your posts at Adam F thread and some house threads. So I guessed bad. Thank you for your replies here and stay the same honest musicholic as you are. God be with you. |
