Apres l'album "Gore Baby Gore" (2006) qui marquait une evolution vers un electro-rock plus sophistique, accompagne d'un nombre record de concerts un peu partout en Europe, PUNISH YOURSELF revient avec... un album instrumental. Changement radical de direction musicale? On pourrait le croire a l'ecoute de ce disque sans parole, qui evoque plus une bande originale de film que les habituels brulots dancefloor du groupe. Ce n'est pourtant pas d'un revirement qu'il s'agit, le groupe se paie juste le luxe d'enregistrer cet album completement inattendu pour satisfaire sa passion pour l'univers du cinema et des musiques de films. Les membres du gang fluo vous convient donc a un entracte aux ingredients surprenants : electro-punk bien sur, mais aussi industriel old-school, jazz decale, rock progressif, harsh-noise, big-beat...
