The latest Berkane Sol twelve sees Geiom collaborate with Pakistani
vocalist Khalid, a shared love of classic era Indian film
soundtracks from the 60's and 70's leading to one of the more
interesting projects in dubstep these last few years. "Zalim Mar
Daala" on the a-side is a beautifully arranged stepper, Khalid's
devotional delivery coming as un unexpected counterfoil to the
flawless arrangement of crisp percussion and heavy drops that Geiom
has laid claim to over the course of five pristine twelves for his
label thus far. The flipside offers an instrumental version and an A
Capella for those of you that way inclined - but for our money its
the full-fat vocal version that's most worthy of your hard-earned
here. Limited upfront copies!
