RELEASE NOTES:
"Monsters" is a track from the main man himself, Emalkay. The track
rolls on a very aggressive edge with powerful beats, solid bass and
many gunshots. With his tracks being supported by the likes of Mary
Anne Hobbs, Plastician, DJ Distance, Zane Lowe and Freq Nasty, it is
clear that this Birmingham bass man is one serious talent. On the
flip is "Overshine", a track from After Dark. After Dark consist of
four heads - Phazeman, DJ Skeeze, DJ Shy and Toxin. "Overshine" is
grimey, low and next level.

First release on Boka's new "Boka Juniors" series, though this
double-fronted assault courtesy of Emalkay and After Dark is just
about as heavy as any of the biggest releases on Boka proper.
Emalkay's "Monsters" takes over A-side operations here with another
massive Grime reduction, a filthy arrangement of broken stabs and
relentless propulsion - you couldn't really describe this track as
anything other than nasty. In the best sense, of course. After Dark
take care of the flip with a similarly noxious effort, "Overshine"
possessing a metallic quality that's only weighed down by the
ridiculously proportioned bassline that dominates proceedings.

With Pinch at the helm it seems like tectonic can do no wrong at the
moment, seriously forming a large section of the dubstep scene in
his own fashion with genius releases from some of the most original
and unique talents it holds, from Omen and Cyrus to Moving Ninja and
now the awesome 2562. Destined to become one of the biggest 12"s of
the year with everyone from the Hardwax crew to Mary Anne Hobbs and
already on regular rotation with Pinch and selected others, 'Channel
two/circulate' fuses elements of Maurizio style dub house, deeper
dubstep and sharply edited broken beat into a cohesive whole which
simply hasn't been achieved by any other artist quite so succinctly.
The super clean and precise production with the metronomic hi-hats
will definitely find this favour with any more forward thinking
deeper/minimal house DJs and shows the style to be open to inifnite
riddimic possibilites. Absolute class.

Thanks for "Non Stop Working DVD"
I'd love to see it. It IS "only" the audio of the film footage yeah? or do I have a corrupt download? (I receive CRC errors and as yet have not heard the 1st mp3 out of 6 , no problem as without the visual its more of an advert to buy (cos we all do  anyway if we like what we hear etc etc blah bah bah

Ironic of UKP to release audio of a DVD and say it is  knowing full well 99% of their releases aren't purchased as this wont be either. (just 'cough' deleted after 24 hours of course.)
Maybe if they released 3 of the 6 'videos' I would consider purchasing it but not on the back of the audio - maybe the site has some clips (..?...)
Wish BBC TV would do a 'History of..' Dubstep as they have done Punk, Reggae and so on etc would be nice to get an almost true (*) picture of the early to the present day scene. *(cant avoid the TV sensationalism that would be added which "Non Stop Working" wont have like Metalheadz, Def Jux or even the Deathrow semi-autobiographical DVD portray.)
I'll shall certainly be looking for an avi rip of this so thanks for sharing the audio, bringing the info of this DVD here and a big Thanks for SO MUCH!! great Dubstep & other genres you share.
