Over the last four years Hot Flush has released more than
25 twelves, launching some of the biggest names in the scene and introducing
new talent in the process. Space and Time is a compilation of exclusive,
unreleased tracks that illustrates the other side of dubstep in 2007. The
compilation features the debut from the exciting live act Jazzsteppa, along
with appearances from the first female dubstep producer of note, Vaccine,
established names such as Boxcutter and Scuba, and remixes by the legendary
Si Begg and distortion dub kings Vex'd.

"Extremely limited copies of this upfront taster for the
hugely anticipated "Space and Time" compilation, coming
our way from the Hot Flush camp sometime next month. The
A-side features the massive second remix from Vex'd for
Toasty's classic "The Knowledge", a gargantuan arrangement
of gnarly synths, tumbling percussion and some predictably
frightening low end work. Brilliant stuff. The flipside
finds Scuba developing his recent interest in more
atmospheric arrangements, the uber-spacious percussive
layering of "Inmost" making use of airy reverb and dense
synths that will send you off in a haze of self reflection
- not really something you'd associate with most of what
you'd file under the dubstep banner...and all the better
for it."
